Misting Shed
Upon harvest, and prior to delivery, our rolls of sod are stored in our misting shed – the only one like it in our area. This shed keeps the sod cool, lowering its temperature by as much as 10 to 15 degrees in even the hottest days. By keeping our sod cooler for longer, we can deliver a better product to you, ensuring that the sod does not overheat in the time between harvest and delivery.
GPS
Our tractors are equipped with GPS systems, which allow Sodco to more accurately apply fertilizer and soil amendments, thereby reducing overlap in our environmental impact.
Computer Invoicing
As one of the first companies in our industry to move toward web based invoicing, we continue to make ordering and account management easier for our customers.
